Wireless Driver being disabled by Window 11 (HOME)

"Windows has stopped this device because it reported problems(Code 43)"

Was running Intel Wireless-AC 9461 driver version 22.120.0.3

Downloaded and tried latest from Intel site - version 22.130.0.5, but still have the problem

Seems to have occurred after installing option HP Driver update  SoftwareComponent 1.42.2770.0

How can I recover this ?

- Install valid driver

- Rollback SoftwareComponent

- etc?

Hi, @LinoLes did your laptop come pre-installed with Windows 11, or have you just recently upgraded it to Windows 11?

HP Recommended

Windows 11 was installed back in January , been running OK since, until now

Curiously I had already tried most of the actions listed in the LifeWire Web article, but had not diabled, and enabled the device.

When I did so , the Wifi came back to life.

Not sure of the reason, or cause, but it worked
