I sent an email on Monday (4th January) regarding a possibly faulty laptop. I was given a case number in an automated email, but have had no reply since. I can only phone/chat at weekends (when they are closed), so want to know how long I can expect before somebody emails?

Hello @PeterR5

Thank you for posting in the HP Support Community !

  • Could you be more specific where did you send your email to, what address ?
  • Of what type is your case number (CRM number or something starting with 5...) ? Do not post here in public the entire number.

In order to speak with a live technician, you may call the support line on Monday during business hours, here is how >> https://www8.hp.com/uk/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html

Make sure you call the support line for Computing Products for Business

My Case Number is  50592XXXXX and my CRM number is 00004988XXXXX

I filled out the form on the HP support page. The email I received was from the automated HP Support account (hpcase@hp.com) at 12:21 pm on 4th January.
