Hi @VaibhaviVP, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the TPM 2.0 Issue!
I understand you're facing an issue where TPM 2.0 is not visible in BIOS, even after attempting updates. This can be frustrating, especially if you're trying to meet requirements for Windows 11 or other security features.
Here are a few steps and resources to help you troubleshoot:
- Access BIOS Properly:
- Restart your system and press F10 (or Esc then F10) to enter BIOS.
- Navigate to the Security tab.
- Look for TPM Device, TPM State, or Security Device Support.
- Ensure it's enabled.
- Check for Firmware TPM (TPM):
- Some HP systems use firmware-based TPM (TPM) instead of a discrete TPM.
- Look for settings like PTT (Platform Trust Technology) or TPM in BIOS.
- Load BIOS Defaults:
- In BIOS, go to the Exit tab and choose Load Setup Defaults.
- Save and exit.
- Check TPM in Windows:
- Press Win + R, type tpm.msc, and press Enter.
- See if TPM is detected in the TPM Management Console.
- Update or Roll Back BIOS:
- Sometimes, a BIOS update may remove TPM visibility.
- Check HP’s support site for your model to see if a previous BIOS version had TPM working.
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution. We hope our assistance has been helpful!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
