I recently acquired a hp 2000 laptop it originally had a windows 7 operating system but not sticker to acquire product key from. Anyways I updated computer to run windows 10 an everything was working great. I had also gotten a maxtor external hhd 350gb. I was using with it. So I decided to store files I wanted to keep to that device an tried to do a fresh start install of windows 10 just to see if it would improve performance, but to sum it up not my laptop is showing error code (3F0) No bootable device found, iv tried using usb to boot the widow 10.iso. But also tried an old Windows XP’s cd i had an still can’t seem to get a operating system installed. Iv ran multiple system hard disk checks an memory but nothing seems to be working an can’t get back bios boot

Sounds like the hard drive has failed and will need to be replaced. You may also find your license key for Windows 7 in the drive compartment.
To boot fron usb- insert it in a usb port. Power on the laptop and immediately start tapping Esc key. From the menu tap F9 key and use the arrow keys to move to and select usb. Tap Enter key.
