Hp notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My new Hp notebook did an update yesterday, I had a pop up saying to plug in some external memory for the update as there wasn’t enough on my hard drive. It took hours to update and only got to 3%. It then went to reboot, I had the Hp logo come up followed by “attempting to recover installation...” “undoing changes made to your computer” - it has been doing this over and over for approx 20 hours now.  Any idea what I can do?

I suggest you perform a System Recovery using the HP Recovery Media

The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file inorder to install Windows operating system. Click here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c06162205 to Use the HP Cloud Recovery Tool (Windows 10, 7)

@Beckiejay

If you have access to another computer, you can download the HP Recovery Media for this computer onto a Flash drive using another computer
