I hope my PC is not completely dead and unsolvable because its been very good for me for the past few years. Starting about maybe yesterday or the day before that it started to refused to boot from USB drive. And then the hard drive it refused to boot after. I could have recovered the os on the hard drive if it let me boot an installer on USB but it cant boot usb and also i could have maybe plugged the hard disk into my working laptop but I dont have any like SATA to USB plugs so I cant do that. Im sure if i did that anyway it still wouldnt work because it hates me. The bios knows the usb and hard disk are there (at least that's what i think when it says their names "Internal hard drive" and "general usb flash disk" on the boot select screen when you press f9) but it does not like them. I dont know if this laptop is permanently dead or if it can be recovered with some sort of bios recovery because ive tried every solution i can think of and now the only thing i can think of left is to recover the bios and if that doesnt work im pretty sure it died. If anyone knows what's happening or why and with like how to reinstall the bios that will be helpful
