Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My laptop suddenly started too much long time to open a file. I thought problem due to windows insider update. Suddenly my OS crashed. During diagnostic I ran system diagnostic, hard drive check but short DST failed. What could be the reason. Problem still persist many times even after complete formatting and reinstallation of OS. Please help.

In case new hard disk is required, which model I should buy.

Thanks.

Unless I misunderstood your comment -- you are running a Windows Insider edition.

And, if you're doing that -- you should KNOW that Insider versions are (1) NOT intended for production PCs, and (2) inherently unreliable.

HP does not provide support for folks using pre-released versions of Windows on their PCs.

With Insider issues, you should really be going to this forum for information:  (9) Windows 10 Help Forums (tenforums.com)

Dear Sir,

Thanks for prompt response.

But after fresh installation why my OS is not responding properly. Why short DST test fail? Please suggest possible solutions.

@VipinIND

The Short DST fail indicates the drive is failing and needs to be replaced.
