Hi,I wanted install Ubuntu over Windows7,during installation i choose (erase everyhting on drive and install only Ubuntu)
Previously on laptop the OS was Windows 7
during installation Ubuntu ,the system asked me to reboot it even installation wasn't finished so i did it.
i reboot laptop and the only thing i have on the screen is (see the pic(sorry for upside down pic,it wasn't me)
i tried to install again thru the BIOS booting from USB,but didn't worked.
thank you in advance.the image is upside down(dont know why)

I'm sorry, but HP only warranties their PCs for usage with the OS that comes preinstalled.
IF you replace that with a Linux distro, or add a Linux distro, then you assume full responsibility for maintaining that -- including solving any problems with booting the other OS and/or installing the other OS.
Your best bet for support with issues with Linux is to contact the support forum of the distro you are using.

wondering, is it common mistake in general?
the reason why i am asking is,is it possible to restore OS on this laptop?as you see in the pic its not even booting.

Yeah I saw the pic -- and it shows us nothing.
The problem is that Win7 is not sold anymore, you can't download it from Microsoft, and HP does not carry Recovery Media for it anymore.
So, unless someone comes along with WHERE you can download it, there is no way to get it so you can restore the PC.
If you'd asked us BEFORE you tried to force Linux onto it, we could have provided you instructions for making an Image backup of your PC which you could be using NOW to restore it.
