HP Notebook - 14-dk0011na
Microsoft Windows 11

I have  HP Notebook 14-dk0000 series.  I upgraded to Windows 11 late last year.

In Windows 11 Normal mode, the screen goes black either on the login page or within a few minutes after login.  The fan remains on, and the orange light on the mute (F6) key remains on.  Hitting the F6 key does not switch the light off - it is as if the laptop is frozen.

In Windows 11 safe mode, I can login just fine and the screen does not go black.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?  All help gratefully received.

The resolution to this was to remove the graphics driver and fallback to the standard windows driver.
