Pavilion Notebook

I let granddaughter delete apps to stop slow down but now it won't work. She said she deleted a window app! When I turn it on it goes to Choose keyboard layout, I clk US.Then choose an option-Troubleshoot or turn off pc. I pick troubleshoot. Then it gives me 6 options to click on. Startup Repair, Command Prompt, Uninstall Updates, IEFI Firmware Settings, System Restore or System Image Recovery. I have clicked Startup Repair, it lights up & nothing happens. I have looked for a place within 50 miles to take this to but nothing showed up. I'm hoping someone here can help me.

@Arta0113-_

The presence of applications on a laptop are NOT going to cause it to run slow -- so deleting them is not going to fix that, either.

The prompt you are getting is because Windows now is so corrupted that it wants to reinstall itself -- which basically, it can not do.  So, you are now stuck with a nonworking PC.

Your only option would be to download and create your own installation media on USB stick, boot from that, and reinstall Windows from scratch.

But ... we need to know the model number of the laptop and what OS version is was running.
