OS: Windows 11 Version 25H2
Number pad not working. I've restarted, uninstalled the keyboard driver, ran system diagnostics, reinstalled the OS, no viruses or malware, nothing comes up when scanned, number lock doesn't fix the issue. It will however work for a literal second *sometimes* when I turn on my computer and need to put in my pin, but after that nothing.
Only info I have is that my 2.5yo keyboard smashed one day and it hasn't worked since.... maybe I'll do the same in a desperate attempt to fix it.

HI @Smay2010,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you need help with questions related to HP products and services. For issues like a non-working number pad, it might be a hardware problem, especially given the physical damage described. You may want to try a few additional steps:

External Keyboard Test: Connect an external keyboard to your device and see if the number pad works on it. This will help confirm if the issue is with the internal keyboard.

Keyboard Replacement: Considering the mention of physical damage, replacing the damaged keyboard might be necessary.

Check Keyboard Connections: If comfortable, you might want to open the device and check the internal connections of the keyboard. A loose connection could cause such issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
