HP Omen Laptop turned off mid BIOS update and now it fails to boot. When turned on now, the screen glows black, the backlight turns on, and the fan turns on, but besides these nothing else happens; No Omen sign, no BIOS, no OS, nothing.
When turned on while pressing windows key + B: Display shows that it attempts to reset BIOS, but it hasn't so far helped.
When turned on while pressing windows key + V: Display shows that it attempts to reset CMOS, but it hasn't helped so far either.
3 year extended warranty expired late last year.
I tried taking it to BestBuy since they're an authorized service center, but they returned the laptop and service charge since they couldn't fix BIOS/UEFI.
I'd appreciate any ideas or help on this matter.
