Hi @jlferro1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your HP laptop. The error code 0XC0E9002 and the inability to load Windows could be related to several issues, such as software corruption or even potential security breaches.

Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:

Try Booting into Recovery Mode:

  • Restart your computer and immediately press the F11 key repeatedly. This should take you to the Recovery Mode.
  • Once in Recovery Mode, you can attempt a System Restore if you had restore points enabled.
  • You might also use Automatic Repair to fix the boot problem if prompted.

Use Safe Mode:

  • If you can access the Recovery Environment, try booting into Safe Mode from the "Advanced Options".
  • In Safe Mode, you can attempt to run antivirus scans or remove any recent installations that might have caused the issue.

Check BIOS/UEFI Settings:

  • Ensure that your UEFI settings haven’t been altered inadvertently. You can access them by pressing F10 or Esc during boot-up, depending on your HP model.
  • Check if the boot order is correctly configured to boot from the hard drive.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the laptop, remove the power cord, and detach any connected peripherals.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect only the essential components and try turning it on again.

Use a Windows Installation Media:

  • If you have access to another computer, you could create a Windows installation media on a USB drive.
  • Boot your HP laptop from this USB drive and select the "Repair your computer" option. From there, you can attempt a startup repair.

Since your situation could potentially involve a security breach, consider changing your passwords on another secure device and ensuring your important data is backed up, if possible. Remember, it's important to proceed carefully and ensure data security when dealing with potential security breaches.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
