Product: HP Pavilion 17-f047nr Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I've been on many forumes, tried many steps the lastest one I did was take apart the laptop take out the cmos battery wait for 1 hour before putting it back in turn on the laptop and hope the bios would be reset without a password. This did not work 

 

the code that pops up after 3 failed password attempts is 

 

CBE424CE

 

I'm bringing this up because I saw on another forum this code can be used to get through.

For that model and (HEX) code you will need to contact HP in your region and they should be able to generate your Master code from your “SYSTEM DISABLED CODE”

When talking to the HP rep ask them to escalate your service request.

 

I have also heard that some have had success removing the RTC/BIOS battery???

So I called them and I tried to escalate, and now there asking for like $45 lol maybe i called the wrong number ?
