Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have HP I have HP Laptop PC 17-by4063cl in which I replaced the hard drive. I was able to install Windows 10 (22H2). However, in the initial reboot it returns "Boot device not found" and Hard disk error (3F0). The AMI BIOS v F.10 was looked at and the hard drive was recognized as a 1TB hard drive (which tested positive in the diagnostics). However, the hard drive is not an option in the Boot Order. Entering OS Boot Manager it returns " OS Boot Manager is not found".
How can I update the BIOS? BIOS update F.18 Rev.A was downloaded. Will it repair OS Boot Manager? Does the BIOS update require a working Windows or can it be done with a command prompt?
