HP Spectre x360 - 13-aw0205tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am using a HP Spectre 13 laptop. Within a month of purchase, the OS freezes  several times after booting to Windows 10. Every time, this occurs I have to manually put it off by using a power button. I was made to handover the laptop to HP Service Centre, they did a recovery from cloud. Within a couple of days the problem has reoccurred. Also after the recovery made, the inbuilt Alexa is missing. Kindly suggest how to solve the OS freeze issue and get back inbuilt Alexa

@Vivek77

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is freezing, and Alexa is not working on the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check if it helps.

If you continue facing the issue, then run a system test on the computer following the steps in the below article to make sure that there is no hardware issue.

For the Alexa app follow the steps in the below article.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Hi Fossette, thanks for responding. But unfortunately, it didnt work. I did a bios update and also ran a hardware test,the result was pass. Still the machine is freezing randomly. Also as I had explained earlier, the Alexa is altogether missing after the recovery made by HP Service Centre. The article you had shared is going to work only if Alexa was preinstalled, but the recovery did not bring back the preinstalled Alexa. Would appreciated for a quick response.

Thanks

I will check on it and get back to you

By any chance did you create the HP Recovery Media when you got the Notebook?
