What are the ways available to transfer OS from primary HDD to newly added SSD?

Cloning the hdd is just that- an exact clone of the drive with all info intact.

You can use cloning software such as Aomei or use the free Media Creation Tool  at Microsoft to create a bootable Windows 10 on usb flash drive to boot from and install Windows. Your license key is embedded in BIOS and will be retrieved automatically during install.
