Hola listman.
The recovery discs can be obtained from:
https://www.best2serve.com/page/rcd_landing
http://www.computersurgeons.com/
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/bph07143
With them you would get windows 10 with your license and programs.

Hi, @listman
The product specs page for your model indicates that it came with W8.1 from HP.
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04316292
You do not need to reinstall W8.1 to upgrade back to W10.
If you do not absolutely need to have the original software configuration that came with your notebook, you can also install W10 for free at any time by using the Media Creation Tool at the link below.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
You will be given the option to make a bootable USB flash drive, or save an ISO file to a DVD.
When you get to the part of the installation script where you are asked to enter a product key, select the 'I don't have a product key' option, and W10 will install and activate once you are connected to the internet.
After you install W10, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

If you wish to perform a fresh install, you can use the following instructions to create Installation media and use it to install
https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10
During the installation process, it will ask for a key. Please SKIP this and continue. Windows will activate when you come online because the key is embedded in BIOS of your machine.
Regards.
