Product: OMEN by HP - 15-ce019dx

The HDD of my older Omen laptop (model: 15-ce019dx product id: 1kv8oua#aba) crashed, all I have is a DOS prompt. No disc drive. No recovery partition. Need a recovery USB tool download for Windows 10 64bit. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be greatly appreciative.

@Jbutram,

 

You can install Window10 with a bootable Windows installation usb drive created with Microsoft Media Creation Tool from the download site below. This will install the latest version of W10. You need a min. 8 GB usb drive.

Download Windows 10

 

Your W10 product key is stored in the BIOS chip. When, upon a completion of the Windows installation, you do the initial setup and connect to the internet, W10 will be automatically activated.
