How would I go about requesting this capability be added to the bios options on the Omen series laptops?

I recognise that the bios is locked down and certain capabilities are not available. The question isn't how to enabled Power On by Keyboard, the question is who do I ask or log a ticket with in order to get it put in.

This capability would make using a docking station a lot easier as there's no external power button for the laptop and I hate opening and closing the laptop lid just to turn it on.

And please don't tell me about Wake On Lan. That's a terrible idea.

Hi @NegativeNelly, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Unfortunately, the option you're looking for is not currently available due to product limitations.

As a workaround, you can use a docking station that supports the necessary capability.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Can you provide a link to a HP approved docking station?

Also, can you confirm you reached out to the product group and confirmed that the bios cannot be updated to include Power on via Keyboard or is there an Assumption being made here, that because it's not in the BIOS already it simply cannot be done? Because there's a lot of Power Features that are only controllable within the UEFI Omen App in Windows and not the Bios.
