About one month ago I bought an Omen 17-ck2014nl. It works very good but I have been experiencing an annoying issue: every some minutes of gaming the FPS drop to very low numbers and the audio can be heard crackling, only to get back to normal in a very short time ( a second or so).  I am constantly checking the temperatures of both CPU and GPU and they are not too high (about 75C at most), and I don't have any other problems with the computer in general. The notebook is in performance mode on omen gaming hub and the issues comes up both in performance mode and balanced mode.

ive got the omen 17 cm2000 and have the same issues. lag and audio stutter randomly while playing games. cpu, gpu, and ram usually under 60% when it happens. i also experience random hard freezes every day or two.

it may be too soon to tell, but ive gone 8 hours without it happening once. try updating your bios and see if that helps.
