Hi @D150guy,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Password Reset Options:
- If you have a password reset disk, you can use it on the login screen.
- Alternatively, utilize your Microsoft account to reset your login password if it's linked to your user account.
Using Safe Mode:
- Boot into Safe Mode to access the Administrator account (if available) and make changes to user accounts.
Creating a New Account:
- Use the Command Prompt from advanced startup options to create a new user account:
- Boot from a Windows installation media or recovery drive.
- Choose “Repair your Computer” > “Troubleshoot” > “Command Prompt.”
- Enter commands to create a new user and set a password.
I hope this helps.
I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍✨
