@TrakaEde, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're trying to access your HP laptop with an Intel Core i3 processor but are unable to do so due to a forgotten password. I’ll guide you through the available options to regain access.

If You Forgot Your Windows Password

Option 1: Reset Microsoft Account Password (for Windows 10/11 with Microsoft login)

If you're using a Microsoft account to sign in:

  1. Go to the Microsoft Password Reset page.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your password.
  3. Once reset, use the new password to log in to your laptop.

Option 2: Use a Password Reset Disk (if created earlier)

If you created a password reset disk previously:

  1. Insert the disk or USB drive.
  2. On the login screen, click Reset password and follow the wizard.

Option 3: Reset Local Account Password (if using a local account)

If you're using a local account and don’t have a reset disk:

  • You’ll need to reset the PC, which may result in data loss if not backed up.

Resetting the Laptop (if all else fails)

⚠️ This will remove all files and settings. Proceed only if you have backups or don’t need the data.

  1. Turn off the laptop.
  2. Turn it back on and immediately press the F11 key repeatedly until the Choose an option screen appears.
  3. Select Troubleshoot > Reset this PC.
  4. Choose Remove everything or Keep my files (if available).
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
