Good afternoon everyone:
I own an HP OMEN by HP Laptop 15t-dc000
Serial number: [Personal Information Removed]
Product number: 3ME09AV
Microprocessor
Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz
System memory
16 GB
Memory slot 1
16GB Samsung 2667MHz
System board
84DB 93.22
System BIOS
F.10
Video
Graphic device 1
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 with Max-Q Design
Current resolution
1920x1080
Update speed
143 Hz
Version
27.21.14.5206 (12/8/2020
And I would like to know what is the ideal temperature range when we are playing, that is, when we are stressing all the components?
When I'm stressing the computer, ie playing games, I have the following temperatures:
GPU + - 90 ºC
CPU + - 80 ºC
CHIPSET + - 95 ºC
I would like to understand if these temperatures are normal. The thermal paste has been changed and all refrigeration components have been cleaned.
If the temperatures are too high what can I do to reduce it? This computer was purchased in the USA, but I live in Brazil.
Most played games:
CS GO
GTA V
Killing Floor 2

Hello @MadScalp12
Welcome !
There temperatures are OK for your computer (such a powerful device). Let me refer to the official specs per CPU/Video vendors:
https://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-1070/specification
As a general advice, I would suggest you update your BIOS (or just ensure it is the latest version). Here is how to do it >> https://support.hp.com/za-en/document/c00042629
BIOS may have effect on your computer power specs and temps
Check this generic HP article about reducing heat >> https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/omen-by-hp-15-dc0000-laptop-pc-series/20329817/model/21869533/d...
If you are worried about the temps, you may try to disable Turbo boost options in the BIOS (if present at all). The system will shut off before components get damaged if overheating is detected. 80-90 is definitely within specs.
Hope this works for you. Let me know if questions or issues.
