I have a hp compaq 6735s and i brought it on ebay a few years ago but couldnt get windows active so i left it for a while now i want to try get it sorted out.
basically it has windows 10 pro N which is an enterprise edition as i was told its an old school laptop but ive tried everything but i cant get it sorted and have no way of contacting seller anymore.

Hello @Dannybtec ,
since it has an enterprise version of Windows 10 you can‘t activate it without contacting the school‘s KMS server. To activate it legally, you need to downgrade it for example to Windows 10 Pro. Therefore you need a product key. For now this will work with a Windows 7 Pro key. As long as a are part of the EU you can get a cheap one legally here. I don‘t know, if you can get this after Brexit.
When you have that product key klick on Windows-> Settings-> Update -> Activation -> change product key
Enter that product key and activate it.
