Hi:

Your notebook originally came with W8.1 64 bit, so if you want all of the original software that came with the notebook, you would have to order W8.1 recovery media from the link below....

https://support.hp.com/us-en/mediaorder/HP-15-r000-Notebook-PC-series/6875200/model/7155664/software...

Then after W8.1 installs, you can click on the blue Update Now button and get your free upgrade to W10 back.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

If you don't absolutely need the original software that came with your notebook, you can use the media creation tool to make W10 installation media and reinstall W10 for free.

The tool will allow you to make a bootable USB flash drive (you need an 8 GB USB flash drive for this).

If you are asked to enter a product key during the installation process, check the 'Skip' box, and W10 will install  and automatically activate once you are connected to the internet.

Then you can install the drivers and available software from the notebook's support page.

Thank you very much. I didn't realize that windows would automatically update the product key.

You're very welcome.

Yes, that is what is good about W10.   No need to buy recovery media.

Anyone that took the free upgrade can reinstall without installing the original operating system.

And the same goes for anyone that bought a PC with W10 installed from the PC manufacturer.
