Product: HP Spectre x360 13 (2019)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was playing a game for less than a minute when my laptop shut down and when it rebooted said: "Thermal shutdown occurred system temperature (90D)". The computer is on an elevated, hard surface with plenty of space around it. Not to mention it is about 68 degrees where I am and no sun is hitting it. Plus, I just bought this computer and took it out of the box today so no dust should have gotten inside. Please let me know if I can disable this.

Its Damaged Return it. My Humble Opinion.

 

i would assume that the processor was set without paste. happens from time to time.

ps i think it meant 90 degrees Celsius
