Hp spectre 360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I am currently using the Hp spectre 360 13 inch notebook (Late 2019) which I recently purchased like 2 months ago. But already I’m facing some issues which I never faced with any other laptops

1. The metal plate beneath is getting overheated than normal temperature with thermal fan running behind whenever I’m using normal tabs like youtube or facebook

2. My battery is draining very quickly, within 5 mins I’m loosing 5% battery already even though it was at 100% a while ago.

I truly dont know why am I facing these issues, I’ve heard the new hp spectre is known best for its battery life and non risky, and household environment but I’m truly disappointed.
please help me solve my issues anyone

to be noted.  I kept my BIOS UPDATED

I ALSO TESTED MY BATTERY And it says it is functioning correctly.
ALSO I RECENTLY CLEANED THE DUST INSIDE the components which usually blocks the fan and thus leads to overheating

yet I’m still facing the issues 😭
I dont know what really the problem is please help me someone

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

Is the Notebook getting very hot? If you have already updated the BIOS and ran the Battery Test try reinstalling the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery

Step 01. Click on the Start Button
Step 02. Type "Device Manager" in the start search box & open the Device Manager
Step 03. Look for Batteries and expand it by click on the + symbol on the left
Step 04. Right Click on "Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery" & uninstall
Note: This Battery driver will get re-installed automatically when you restart the Notebook again
Step 05. Please restart the Notebook

Keep me posted
