Hello everyone,
Recently I started experiencing trouble with my laptop giving me blue screens of death. At first I didn't think much of it, as over the years I've seen this multiple times before; However it's gotten to the point where I can no longer login to my computer. It just stops responding and eventually turns into one of the death screens.
The error on the blue screen is: DPC Watchdog Violation.
I've tried updating all the drivers manually, before my laptop wouldn't let me log in anymore and none of the drivers give me an error when looking at it through device manager; however when I look at my drivers in cmd.exe it shows me that PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller has a problem, with the code "0xC0000490".
I'm assuming this means the driver is missing?
Booted it through my external harddrive and that seemed to work for a short time, but now has come to the same point.
I'm at a loss. Please help 🙂

Hi:
There are two different drivers that can install that device... and it depends on which of the two PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controllers your notebook has a driver problem with.
So, you will most likely have to try both drivers.
