Probook 6560b
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a HP Probook 6560b. Formatted hardrive, fresh install of Windows 7 Professional, SP1. After installation, couldn't make network connection. In Device Manager, saw multiple Network Adapters not installed. Went to HP website, downloaded 9 available driver software packages and installed. Note, several did not install properly.

I still show 3 "Other Devices" in Device Manager with no driver installed.

The hardware IDs are shown for each. Can someone direct me to some possible drivers to address this issue? Thanks, I appreciate any assistance.

Hi:

I don't see that you installed the drivers necessary to install the devices you posted the ID's for from the list of HP service packs you listed.

For the BSD, you need this driver...

The JMicron Media Card Reader Driver enables the integrated media card slot in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp60501-61000/sp60769.exe

PCI Simple Communications Controller:

This package provides the Intel Management Engine Components Driver for supported notebooks with supported operating systems.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp54001-54500/sp54317.exe

Unknown Device:

This package provides HP 3D DriveGuard for the supported notebook models and operating systems. HP 3D DriveGuard receives notifications from the integrated accelerometer and protects the hard drive (HDD) by automatically "parking the heads" to reduce the risk of damage if the notebook is accidentally bumped or dropped.
