@Envyme1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your Microsoft password!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Since you've changed your Microsoft password but still can’t access your notebook, here’s what you can try:

Ensure You're Using the Correct Microsoft Account: Double-check that the email address you're using to sign in is the one associated with your updated Microsoft password. Sometimes, we can have multiple accounts, and it's easy to mix them up.

Try Signing in with Local Account (if enabled): If you had set up a local account alongside your Microsoft account, try signing in with that. You’ll need to enter your PIN or password for the local account.

Use Account Recovery Options:

  • Go to Microsoft’s account recovery page to reset your password or recover your account if you’re unable to sign in with your new credentials.
  • Follow the prompts, and they will guide you through the process of regaining access.

Boot into Safe Mode: Sometimes, booting into Safe Mode can help reset or fix any account-related issues. You can do this by:

  • Restarting your device and pressing Shift + F8 (or another key, depending on the model) while it’s booting.
  • Choose "Safe Mode with Networking" and try logging in again.

Reset Your PC: If none of the above steps work, you might want to consider a system reset. This will give you the option to keep your files while reinstalling Windows, which might help you regain access. Be sure to back up your data if possible before doing this.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
