Presario CQ56
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. I have recently acquired a broken Cq56 laptop. I have managed to repair the laptop and have Installed windows 10 via the use of the media creation tool. I want to know if I can create a recovery partition for Windows 10 that will be accessed via the esc, F11 function. If so what would be the path of the recovery partition. The entire drive had been formatted when I received the laptop. I know how to create a partition and put the. Iso on there. I just need to know where the F11 points to. Thanks.

If you're asking for what would be essentially, and HP Recovery Partition, the precise answer is NO -- as that is preloaded by HP when the PC is built.

That said, if you want to experiment, there is this third-party solution that CLAIMS to be able to do this -- but you use at your own risk, as I have not tried using this:  https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/oem_recovery_partition_creator.html

Good Luck
