Microsoft Windows 11

After upgrading to Windows 11 the display will flicker or go blank when using mouse or touch pad after startup.  Turning power button off then on will resolve problem until the next time computer is started.

I updated BIOS to F.17 and did the Windows optional update but display still flashes or goes blank.  Turning power off and on will still temporarily fix it until the next time that I log on.

Hello @Bather

Thanks for reporting.

You are on an uncertain path with Windows 11 ...

Recommendation and solution

You should downgrade to Windows 10 because Windows 11 has not been officially tested and released by <HP> and there are no Windows 11 drivers  available.

(1) Make backup copies of the most important personal files and data to external <USB hard drive>.

(2Downgrade

Please read and follow the guide carefully !

Downgrade from Windows 11 to Windows 10

See Section <How to downgrade Windows 11 to Windows 10 after 10 days>
