Hi
Finally you give something I can work with. HP Pavilion g6-2255sr Notebook PC
https://support.hp.com/gb-en/product/HP-Pavilion-g6-2200-Notebook-PC-series/5296082/model/5311321
So it supports W7 64 bit, and W8.1 64 bit.
So now I need answers...
Why did you replace the Hard Disk Drive?
What make and model is the replacement?

Good day again. I replaced hdd because it was having a bad blocks at 63 - 65 gb, bios checking of hdd leaves error message and some error code that I could watch in web what it means. Unfortunateky i can't find it in my history of browsing. and there was this 3F0 message.

Now I can't. Actually the hdd was brought back to the seller & yesterday notebook was taken away. I was trying to help my neighbor. Probably in a day or two he will get it to diagnostic. But I'm interested, what was the problem with crashing the legacy bios when I choose it? Any Ideas? My appology if I wasted you time, but could you tell me the possible reasons?

Hi
The list....
Wrong type of Hard Drive, SSD not supported.
Wrong type of Hard Drive, too large a capacity.
Wrong type of file structure MBR / GPT
Wrong choice of Secure / Legacy boot to match the OS (W10 Secure / W7 Legacy)
Wrong choice of BIOS file.
Corrupt BIOS file.
etc etc.
