Thanks anyway, done trying outside help. I've spent several hours researching this problem. It has something to do with Windows 10. Software is to new for anyone to figure out. Going to use another laptop screen and plug into original output. If that doesn't work, it's going to recycle bin. Thanks again for your help.

What exactly are you wanting me to try? I don't have access to downloaded software.  The site help just keeps sending me to the forum.

If your computer is out of warranty then you need to choose the paid options to reach the HP phone support.

Thanks for the help. I don't have money to spend on fixing this laptop, it's getting recycled. I was hoping hp knew of something I hadn't tried, or had another option. Thanks anyways.
