I bought this laptop new in July. This issue has been there since then.

I do not have the option of Hybrid Sleep. Hibernate works fine. I have disabled Sleep altogether as the closing of apps is consistent.

Can happen over night; can happen within a few minutes of sleep.

All HP driver and network checks report no problem.

Google search mentions issues caused by installing apps from Microsoft Store.

I have run a PowerShell script that claims to fix that isse but has no effect on my apps being closed.
