Please Help. Hp Omen 15-ek0013dx Hard Drive not showing during install.

Hey everyone, 

I have been working on this issue for literally 24 hours with no luck. Yesterday, I was installing a game and my pc just went black. It went into a recovery mode where it kept restarting automatic startup repair. I was left with no choice than to do a clean install.

My other computer is a Mac. This has created problems as I am trying to extract hp .exe drivers, which I cannot. I have to go to third party sites to find the zip files. 

I have a windows bootable image. I boot up the usb install and the only drive showing up is the intel optane 32 gb drive. I click load driver and I have been selecting various versions with no luck. It either loads quick but still doesnt show the drive or it crashes and gives me a driver pop watchdog error code.

I am stuck in a loop and I really need help.

Hi:

Windows shouldn't need a storage controller driver for a PC with an Intel 10th gen core processor.

Find a friend or relative that has a PC, and you can use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive.

If you have to use the tool on another PC to create the installation media, you will need to enter your PC's product number in the tool's search window to create the recovery media.

Your PC's product number is:  2A137UA#ABA.

I have zipped up and attached the correct Intel storage controller drivers for the processor and chipset your notebook has, below.

If you get the same results with these, then I recommend you use the HP cloud recovery tool.

Thank you everyone for your help. It was my optane drive… see attached pic. I bought a new Samsung Evo 970 Plus and it works great!
