Hi @pandora0001,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community! I came across your post and wanted to assist you. I understand you are looking for HP Recovery. Don't worry I'll be really glad to help you with this,

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Could you let me know why you want to perform recovery on your PC?

Are you having any issues with the computer not booting?

Have you tried to boot the computer into Recovery manager using F11 on startup?

In the meantime, while you respond to this post, let's try these steps here:

Perform a Hard reset on the notebookA power reset (or hard restart) clears all information from the computer's memory without erasing any personal data. Performing a power reset might fix conditions such as Windows not responding, a blank display, software freezing, keyboard stops responding, or other external devices locking up.

There is a hidden partition available on your PC through which you can perform a System recovery. In order to boot into the recovery manager, Please press the power button on restart and then start tapping Esc key until you see the startup Menu, On the startup Menu press the F11 key for Recovery manager.

For more information, please use this link: HP PCs - How to Reset Your Computer to Factory Settings (Windows 10, 8, 7)

For some reason, if you are not able to access the recovery partition this could be if the partition is missing or file is corrupted. The only other way to install Windows would be to order the recovery media for your laptop and using the recovery media you can install Windows. You can check if the recovery media is available online on www.hp.com/drivers by entering the exact model no. of your laptop. To find the exact model no. click here: http://hp.care/2bygf7l

Please follow this link: HP PCs - Obtaining HP Recovery Discs or an HP USB Recovery Drive

Otherwise, you could also reach HP phone support to order the recovery media. If your product is out of warranty, please choose paid options to get the tech support number.

HP Technical Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: http://h22207.www2.hp.com/us-en/?openCLC=true

(1) Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.

(2) Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.

(3) Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.

(4) Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get the phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

Hi @pandora0001,

Thank you for replying,

I appreciate your time and efforts,

As I understand you tried to look for the recovery media for your PC. Unfortunately, there are no recovery media available for your PC. In this scenario, you could go ahead and purchase a retail version of Windows and install the OS.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need any technical assistance. I'll be more than happy to help.

You've been great to work with and it has been a genuine pleasure interacting with you.
I hope both you and your product works great and remain healthy for a long time 😉

@pandora0001

That model came with Windows 10. You can create your own recovery media via the HP Recovery Manager and a 16 or 32 GB USB stick.

https://support.hp.com/ee-en/document/c04641788

IF that is not going to let you create one, then one has already been made. You are allowed to make only one copy.

You can order a copy from HP unless for whatever reason it cant be mailed to your area.

You can also download a copy of Windows 10 and create a USB installer using the Microsoft Media Creation Tool.

Link... Create media Windows 10

Then you will want to download a copy of your drivers to install afterward.
