@Pankaj81, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
This message usually appears when your HP laptop does not have an operating system installed or the system is unable to detect a bootable OS.
Here’s how you can resolve the issue with your laptop not booting properly:
Solution 1: Check Boot Order in BIOS
- Turn on your laptop and press Esc repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
- Press F10 to enter BIOS Setup.
- Navigate to the Boot Options section.
- Ensure the correct hard drive is set as the first boot device.
- Save and exit by pressing F10.
If no hard drive is detected, your disk may be corrupted or disconnected.
Solution 2: Install Windows (or another OS)
If your laptop doesn’t have an operating system, follow these steps:
1. Create a Bootable USB Drive
- Use another computer to download the Windows 10/11 Media Creation Tool from the Microsoft website.
- Create a bootable USB using Rufus or the Media Creation Tool.
2. Install Windows
- Insert the bootable USB into your laptop.
- Turn it on and press Esc > F9 to open the boot menu.
- Select the USB drive and press Enter.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
