  • Can you post your full HP product model and the product number (p/n) - here are instructions how to find them >> http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108
  • Is this a new computer for you or you have been using it for a while ?
  • If not a new PC, have you performed any changes, updates or upgrades ?

 

I ask all these questions to better assess your situation and to provide you a specific advice.

 

Generally speaking, you get this message because either of these:

- Computer's BIOS/UEFI is not configured correctly and it tries to boot from a device (not standard HDD) that has no bootable stuff on it (e.g. empty USB pen drive)

- there is no HDD/SSD/storage drive present in the PC

- HDD/SSD is present but corrupted (or some connector is not working)

- Operating system (e.g. Windows) is totally corrup/unbootable, or no operating system is installed
