Hello all!  I really hope someone can help me finally figure this out. I see unknown devices connected to my PC or wifi. I'm not completely helpless, I have tried securing these things but I believe there might be a remote user accessing my PC and returning it to a state of vulnerability. I recently downloaded the diagnostic data app...  This is the name of the top application sending data from my PC, the name alone is raise for concern:

          svchost_?unknown_hosted_dll?

the second, third, fourth, and fifth:

         SIH Client

         Microsoft Compatibility Telemetry

         USO Core Worker Process

         NT Kernel & System

I've come across some of these terms in my searches for an answer and these results give me the feeling something isn't right. Can someone shed some light on the purpose of these "applications" and why they would be sending so much data from my PC? Also, are any of these connected to any remote processes?

A quick search shows these are all legitimate Windows processes.  So, these are NOT indications of your PC being hacked.

IF you REALLY think malware is on there, you should run scans to detect it.  Windows Defender comes built-in, so you can run that.

There is also a free version of MalwareBytes AntiMalware you can download and install -- and run it.

IF there IS malware, the only SAFE solution is a complete reinstallation of Windows because there's no way of finding ALL the places that malware can hide and only clean system will ensure that it is gone.
