It is a pretty old laptop I bought in 2018. Currently, it has the latest Windows 10 22H2. I am wondering to give a shot on Windows 11 as Windows 10 is end of support officially.  The main hardware specs are:

  • Intel Core i3-7100U CPU
  • 8GB DDR4 RAM
  • 1TB HDD
  • ‎Intel HD Graphics 620 Graphics

How can I install Windows 11 on this old computer?

You can do an in-place upgrade from W10>W11, but you would have to use a workaround that bypasses the W11 hardware checks.

I found that the info presented in this video is the easiest way to do an in-place upgrade from W10>W11.

I've used it on several PC's that don't meet Microsoft's minimum W11 hardware requirements.
