I dropped the laptop about 2 months ago and the power cord plug in got bent. It has been charging the computer but sometime I had to move or press the cord hard into the slot to get it to charge. It stopped charging yesterday. I ordered a new power cord and it will be here in a few days and hopefully that will work but I fear that the problem is not the cord but the laptop where it plugs in. Yesterday, I pressed hard and moved the power cord and it charged. Today it won't.
If it is not the power cord, I will have to send it to be fixed. I need help in finding a location in Kendall FL where they can fix it and an idea of how much cost and time it will take to do so.
I will submit a request that someone take a look at your question / concern.

How does the computer get to HP?
If you live in an area where the shipping box cannot be sent directly to your house...
If you do need to send in the computer, you will likely need to leave your house to retrieve the shipping box and again to take the box (with the computer in the box) back to a local shipping location to have it shipped. The actual repair will be handled at an HP repair depot (possibly Texas).
How does your computer get back to you?
When the computer is fixed, it will be mailed back to you or to the agreed local pickup / drop-off location.
