Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)
I have an oem genuine product key verified. tried to download windows 7 ISO files and it says to contact manufacturer. I don't want to pay because I've already bought the machine some years ago. I want to completely reformat etc before handing on because we've upgraded the machine, cant find the recovery disks I made because it's so long ago and we've moved many times since! Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi:

HP does not provide W7 ISO files for download, and they no longer sell W7 recovery media for your notebook's model series.

Since you can still read all 25 characters of the W7 product key on your PC's case, you can make your own plain W7 Home Premium 64 bit installation media from the link below--download link toward the bottom of the page.

I have zipped up and attached the Microsoft utility below, that you will need to transfer the ISO file to a DVD or USB flash drive so that it is bootable.

After W7 installs, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.
