The specs of your machine is

I can't find its manual but I believe this series does NOT have dual storage option with 2.5" HDD/SSD therefore your machine does NOT have 2.5" slot for hard drive. Crucial even does not supply 2.5" drive for your machine, it knows there is no where to install:

Many HP products now only have M.2 slot for storage, other vendors do the same. I've got at least 6 machines around me right now do not have 2.5" bay for hard drive, 1 Mac, 1 HP, 2 MS Surface's and 2 Dell's.

You can upgrade 512GB to 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD.  The simplest way to do: looks at Device Manager to see what it is now and buy same brand/model. Otherwise you can use Crucial P1/P2 series or Samsung 970 EVO series or many around.
