My computer is a HP 8710w with Windows XP servicepack 3.
At startup I get the following messages:
AccelerometerSt.exe - Can't find the startaddress
Can't find the startaddress for the procedure _except_handler4_common inte the DLL-file msvcrt.dll.
Could anybody help me with my problem?

Hi,
Uninstall HP 3D DriveGuard, restart the notebook and then download and reinstall this application using the installer on the link below.
After the installation, restart the notebook again.

Thank you for the assistance. I am not very good at changing/adding and deleting software and it scares me so when this error message came up after an update I was afraid of what I might have to do to correct the problem. Your directions were clear and precise and the problem was stated exactly as I experienced it so that was encouraging in the fact that the solution would work. I followed your instructions and restarted the laptop to make sure the error didn't appear again.
Mine appeared on my HP Beats laptop with windows 10 upgrade from windows 7.
