Hi @emre4646,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing a white light appearing on the screen of your HP Victus 15 FB0008nt laptop before the login screen, it could be an issue with the display or the graphics driver. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Update graphics drivers: Go to the HP support website and download the latest graphics drivers for your specific model. Install the drivers and restart your laptop to see if the issue is resolved.
  • Boot into Safe Mode: Restart your laptop and repeatedly press the F8 key (or another key specific to your model) to enter the Advanced Boot Options menu. From there, select "Safe Mode" and see if the white light issue persists. If it doesn't, it could indicate a problem with third-party software or driver conflicting with your system. You can then try uninstalling recently installed programs or drivers to identify the cause.
  • Adjust display settings: Right-click on your desktop and select "Display settings" (or similar). Check the brightness, contrast, and color settings to ensure they are properly configured. You can also try adjusting these settings to see if it makes any difference.
  • Hardware check: Connect an external monitor to your laptop and check if the white light issue occurs on the external display as well. If it does, it suggests a potential hardware problem with the GPU or display panel. In such cases, it's best to contact HP support or a professional technician for further assistance.
  • System Restore: If the issue started recently, you can try restoring your laptop to a previous system restore point when the problem didn't exist. This can help revert any system changes that might be causing the issue.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
