Product: HP Pavilion 13 x360 PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer is not fully shutting down.  The screen turns off as usual but the cooling fan keeps going and the light of the button to turn it on stays on. I tried to just put it on sleep mode so I didn't had to force it off and the same thing happened. I doubt that it is because of Windows 10 since I installed the software long ago and the problem started a day ago. All the updates are installed, my computer is up to date. How do I fix this?

Type Programs and Features in the search box and click on the Programs and Features icon that appears above. 

 

Click on the view installed updates to see the updates. Find the one that is dated as installed when the issue happened. Uninstall it from there. See the image below for an example.

Actually, yes. I downloaded and installed some HP updates and that same night was the first time that it didn't shut down properly.
