I have a 15-dw0037wm laptop. I recently had to do a format and reinstall a fresh version of windows 10. After the format/reinstall I am running into some problems.
I currently have 2 probelms:
1. My external hard drive no longer is detected by the laptop. I backed up files to this drive before the format and have been using it more years. It detects correctly on my desktop.
2. Some games I used to be able to run no longer run. When i load, I get stutter and extreme lag. These used to run fine before.
I went through the HP driver auto detect and could not find my windows version to look for drivers. I have windows 21H2 but the drivers list does not have this build. I tried downloading drivers for 20H2.
For the graphics issue, i also went to intels site to download drivers for the uhd620 graphics and even with that still have that problem. Any ideas what could be the issues? Are these driver issues? I did not have these problems right before the format. Thank you.

Hi:
What I suggest you do is to see if your notebook is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool (it should be), which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Here is an info link for how to use that utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media.
