I have an HP Pavilion 15-eg2852nd. I am unable to update Windows 11 to 24H2. On two occasions I was offered the '24H2' update via Windows update, but both times something went wrong during the installation (rebooting). Do more users of this type of laptop have the same problems? Is the cause known? Are there solutions? Does anyone have any tips to solve the problem?

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try to update to W11 24H2 by clicking on the blue Windows 11 Installation Assistant button at the link below (1st option).

Hello Paul_Tikkanen, Thank you for your response. Unfortunately my problem is not solved. Downloading and installing goes fine, but when the laptop restarts I get the message "your device ran into a problem and needs to restart" at 75%. This was also the case with previous attempts to update. Then I got the error code 0xc1900101.

Sorry that the W11 Installation assistant method didn't work for you.
Unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try unless you want to back up your files and clean install W11 24H2 by making a bootable USB installation flash drive from the Microsoft link (2nd option) and then install the drivers and programs you need after W11 24H2 has been installed.
